Flock Heat Transfers are defined as, and formed by,

  1. Electrostatically coating flock fibers into a release adhesive on a base carrier film (or paper)
  2. screen printing colored reversed image into the fibers with pigmented water based inks
  3. screen printing a permanent latex flock transfer adhesive onto the free ends of the flock fibers in the shape of the final design, and dipping the wet latex into a box of hotmelt powder particles
  4. air drying then heat curing the Flock Heat Transfers
  5. Flock Heat Transfers now ready to heat apply to final article being decorated
